Longtime host and fan of all things Chicago folk, Kathleen Kelly has asked me to join her on her radio program, Sunday, June 7, 2009 at WNUR 89.3 FM for some fun.  My brother Mark will join me as we talk and play a little live music, as well as hear a cut or two from the CD, Comes Up Grinnin'.  The show airs 10:00 AM to Noon. this Sunday, June 7th.  Kathleen tells me we should be on around 11:00 AM. And if you think you're out of range, try the internet!  Yes folks, you can hear WNUR streaming live from your computer.  www.wnur.org

Come visit Val's on Harrison street in Oak Park and hear some of the tunes on this debut CD.  Due to space limitation, only a couple of the Groovy Guys will be there to help me out: Don Stiernberg on mandolin and Mark Furlong on bass, with a special appearance from Mr. Ramova Himself, Mark Doyle, making his Can I Get An Amen! comeback mini debut.  We'll have a few refreshments and a few laughs.  While you're there, you can pick up some fine tune-age from the thousands of new and used cds and vinyl.
